On Wednesday, the country music singer-songwriter opened up about her older sister Britney Spears’ triumphant night at last month’s Billboard Music Awards.
“I was there – I was front-row, me and my daughter Maddie,” Jamie Lynn, 25, told CMT on the CMT Music Awards red carpet. “Truthfully, we were just there to celebrate, and it was awesome, and she looked so hot!”
Britney received the Icon Award at the BBMAs, in addition to performing a show-stopping medley of her myriad hits, from “Work Bitch” to “Womanizer.
And Jamie Lynn said she’ll leave the hardcore choreography and fancy footwork to her big sis.
“She’s got it. I don’t really like dancing – I’d prefer to never have to do it, unless it’s with my little girl,” she added of her 7-year-old daughter.

Several minutes later, I got a call on the request lines from Larry Rudolph (her manager), Britney wanted to speak with me. Wilmer and I assumed she was mad at me for rapping on her song, I was braced for a verbal thrashing… but she LOVED it!!! Whew! I mean you don’t want Brit mad at you! Interviewed or bumped into her several times over the years, always very sweet!

New Single is Delayed
Several sources have mentioned that the lead single of B9 Make Me (Oooh) produced by BURNS has been delayed. EW has reported that Make Me may be released in July, but there has been no official confirmation by Britney’s team. EW has reported this before Britney tweeted the G-Eazy picture from the video shoot.
