Apparently Meghan Trainor offered to write songs for Britney Spears! According to an exclusive interview with DigitalSpy, Meghan has also revealed that she is a huge Britney fan.

Here are some highlights of the interview:

“It’s funny, because during the time when I was writing [these songs], I met with Britney randomly,” Meghan told Digital Spy.

“I was in LA Reid’s office and Britney’s people who are working with her now came in and met me. I was like, ‘Should I? Should I write for Britney Spears right now?’

“I was so crazy busy, but I was like, ‘Hey, if you guys ever want help or need an extra writer, I’m so down.’

“She’s the reason why I’m a singer. That was the first album I ever had.”
