Britney Spears is reportedly “religious” about working out.
The pop star often flaunts her toned figure on Instagram, sharing photos of her in skimpy swimwear during a recent holiday to Hawaii. She’s looking better than ever right now, which is apparently down to her strict exercise regime.
“Britney was in the best shape of her life when she did the Slave 4 U video in 2001,” an insider told Britain’s Closer magazine. “She exercised for an hour a day solely on her abs and was determined to get back to that. She does the same routine now, which includes crunches, planks with knee thrusts and hip twists, which she combines with yoga. She’s religious about doing it daily.”
It isn’t just her dedication to fitness which is keeping her in great shape though, as the source also notes her diet plays a big part too. Having previously tucked into junk food, Britney – who raises sons Sean, 10, and Jayden, nine – is now said to have converted to healthy diet choices.
“Burgers and Mexican food have always been Brit’s downfall, but she’s cut out all that greasy food because she knows it was holding her back from getting her dream body. She eats lots of protein and veg, takes weight-loss supplements and has one protein shake a day.”
