Britney will be performing a medley of her greatest hits at the Billboard Music Awards! THIS is very exciting!

It also gets better. She might be performing her new upcoming rumored BURNS-produced (Calvin Harris protégé) single Make Me (Oooh)! Now THAT’S what I’m talking about! We seriously cannot wait for this slayage to occur! It will be quite an event to watch out for! Be sure to tune in the Billboard Music Awards on ABC on Sunday, May 22nd to witness this MAJOR event.

The legendary Britney Spears will be getting the Millennium award at the Billboard Music Awards! AMAZING! Congratulations, Britney; very well deserved! This will certainly be a night to remember.

Today is Mother’s day! We would like to wish Britney a wonderful mother’s day!

Britney is also the most followed celebrity mom on Twitter!

So, which mom has the most followers when it comes to Twitter? The answer may actually surprise you: Britney Spears. The singer has 45.1 million followers on the platform, putting her just 100,000 ahead of the number two madre, Kardashian West. Rounding out the top three is another surprise, Shakira. The Colombian mother of two has 38 million loyal fans following along.

Make Me (Oooh): Possibly Being Released on May 23rd?!

Robin Leach from the Las Vegas Sun has recently mentioned that Britney’s new rumored lead single “Make Me (Oooh)” off her upcoming album #B9 will be released on May 23rd, a day after the Billboard Music Awards performance! How exciting!

Here’s a direct quote:

In addition to the Millennium Award news, Billboard confirmed our other earlier reports that Britney will sing a medley of her hits and include the premiere of her new single “Make Me (Oooh),” which is the advance single release from her next album. It’s believed that her new releases will go on sale May 23, the morning after the three-hour Billboard Music Awards telecast.

A commercial for Z100 (A major pop radio station in New York) in High Quality leaked and it features Britney! It is from 2004! Absolutely love this! Radio and Britney together is a match made in heaven.

New songs (possibly for B9) registered!

WOW! There were some new songs recently registered that may be for B9!

First one is Just Like Me written by Justin Tranter, Julia Michaels, Britney and produced by Nick Monson (Nick Monson produced some songs for Nick Jonas’ debut album, a flawlessly produced album!). Exciting!

Discover Britney – Song Of The Week – Unusual You – Edition 7

Welcome back to another edition of ‘Discover Britney,’ where we highlight Britney songs that were not released as singles. This way, you can share a song a week with people that have not yet had the chance to hear flawless tracks from Britney’s albums. Spread THE word!

If you are an avid Britney stan, you will know that almost every track from a Britney album (in an ideal world) should have been released as a single. So many people have been deprived of some of the most timeless tracks and we feel that they should be heard. UNUSUAL YOU 

Electropop ballad, ‘Unusual You,’ marks our first entry from Britney’s sixth studio album, ‘Circus.’ This enchanting ballad reels you in from the very first note, Britney’s soft tone matches the soothing guitar and calming piano flow in perfect harmony.

Disappointingly, this brilliant track never reached the single status. There was however a promotional and radio release in France and Australia (Sent to radio stations in Australia), however the song never really got the push it rightfully deserved. The song has been compared to the likes of Gwen Stefani on numerous occasions and we would have to agree, there is something about this track that feels like it was inspired by Gwen’s single, ‘Cool,’ a track just as refreshing. The song focuses on that feeling of new love, however there is a dark undertone that hits a little close to home when it comes to Britney’s past relationships that makes this song feel so authentic and heart felt. ‘Didn’t anyone tell you, you’re supposed to break my heart? I expect you to. So why haven’t you?’ Following a very recent heart-break (or two), the lyrics could not have been more deep and meaningful. The track was written and produced by Christian Karlsson and enlists the help of fan faves’s ‘Bloodshy & Avnat,’ both responsible for penning some of Britney’s greatest hits and clearly a match that we would love to see more and more of. ‘Sweet surprise, I could get used to,’ took the words right out of our mouths..
