When it comes to, Taryn Manning, she always has nothing but wonderful things to say about Britney. Taryn recently spoke with aol.com about a memory she had on set with Britney while filming “Crossroads”. Check out the memory she said below:

Can you believe it’s been 14 years since “Crossroads” was released?

The iconic movie starring Britney Spears, Taryn Manning and Zoe Saldana came out in 2002 and, on a recent trip to the AOL headquarters in New York City, we asked Manning to share a little-known story from on set involving Spears.

“First of all,” Manning said with a smile. “Being around Britney Spears in her heyday was, just…there are no words!”

“One day I’ll never forget was when I asked her to sing for me,” she continued. “We were in the car — because [‘Crossroads’ took place on] a road trip — and I was like, ‘Will you sing?’ And she was like, ‘Yeah!'”

“She sang the National Anthem, and it was supreme,” she recounted.

Manning clearly has many fond memories from her time on the “Crossroads” set: At just 21 years old, she was still a young actress with just a few credits to her name, so working on a movie with the legendary Miss Britney Spears must have been quite the experience.

“For anybody that thinks that Britney can’t sing, [this was] epic!” she said with the excitement of a die-hard fan. “Every note: on point; Her little, sweet, perfect voice, all of her little riffs and ad-libs were amazing.”

The things we would’ve done to have been there!

What a beautiful memory.

Britney is not playing this era!

According to TMZ Britney Spears will be on the front cover of the September issue of “Flaunt” magazine.

Britney Spears is deploying her super hot body in an all-out media blitz … before the eve of a huge appearance at the VMAs and right after the rollout of her new album.

We got the cover of “Flaunt” magazine, which is about to come out, the day before she hits the stage for what we’re told is a high-tech performance to push her new album. Our VMA sources say there are no big surprises — like a Madonna kiss or 12-foot python — it’s all about music.

Britney is everywhere … her James Corden Carpool Karaoke went viral, she and Kanye are the clear stars of Sunday’s VMAs, and her album, “Glory,” just dropped.
BTW … Britney said on Corden’s show she was done with men. She was serious, at least in terms of the VMAs, because we’re told her backup dancers for the show are all women

All this promotion and we are LOVING it!! Currently “Make Me” is number three on iTunes and “Glory” is still the number one worldwide album on the iTunes charts! Britney is coming for blood everyone. She hits the VMA stage tomorrow. Who is ready?!??!
